The hunting experience itself was nothing short of unforgettable. Riding horseback through Montana’s open country and timber, watching the sunrise over the mountains, and being immersed in elk country is something I’ll never forget.
One morning, we came across a herd of roughly 200 elk, and the herd bull bugled for nearly 45 minutes before finally giving me the opportunity to take a shot. I was fortunate enough to harvest a beautiful 6x7 elk, but the memories surrounding that moment are what make the experience truly special.
